“Accompany Angi into the enchanting world of fungi! Angi will share with you how, when, and where to find your subjects as well as her usual approaches to capturing them with lots of magic & mystery so you can create your own fungi fairytale images that will stand out from the crowd. ”

“Learn how to carefully view your own approach in the field & in post to push yourself to new heights. Jackie will go over the mental checklist to apply at every turn, asking, "How can I make this better?" ”

“Discover creative techniques to effectively incorporate texture into your ikebana arrangements. Learn unique ideas to work with texture to make your compositions stand out and feel more timely, relevant, and impactful. * Hands-On Assignment: Create a simple ikebana arrangement focusing on texture. * Photography: Capture photographs of your arrangement and the materials used to convey the feeling and message through texture.”

“Learn how to create artistic watercolour style images both in camera and through post processing. The various techniques that can be applied in the field will be explained so you can come home after a day's shoot with images that have a dreamy watercolour feel. Using Photoshop, you will learn how the application of various filters work with watercolour brushes to create your very own artistic watercolor images.”

“Kathleen will share many different techniques to help you to create more artistic, interesting photos by shooting through various natural and artificial materials.”

“Explore the fascinating world of symmetrical imagery and pareidolia — the phenomenon of seeing familiar shapes and faces in random patterns. Use Photoshop to mirror your photos, creating striking compositions that are both visually captivating and conceptually intriguing. We will also dive into the art of pareidolia, transforming ordinary images into surreal works where shapes and faces seem to emerge from unexpected places, eliciting wonder and curiosity.”

“"Unstill Life" is an exploration of the "superrealistic" approach to traditional still life. ”

“Lightroom Mobile offers mobile photographers one of the best ways to record and craft photos on iPhones and Androids. In this class, Rad will share a workflow for processing any image whether color, B&W, or infrared, review some of the latest Lightroom Mobile features, and demonstrate Lightroom Mobile's robust masking capability. His goal is to equip you with the tools to craft your images to fulfill your creative vision!”

“Scanography is the process where live plant material is arranged on a flatbed scanner, and scanned to a computer. Sandra will show you how she selects & arranges flowers, foliage, seedpods, shells, still life items & other material onto a scanner in stages, working from behind the image with frequent preview scans. She will describe the scanner model used and settings she finds best. Sandra will invite you to share your scanner models & will help you to acquire the best images you can draw from your imagination. She will also discuss where & how to source plant material, & help you to develop your creative instincts for composition in what may be for you a very different approach to imaging flowers. ”

“Terry will share the step-by-step process she uses to transform her photography into expressive art. She normally uses Photoshop and will walk through a previously edited piece. Terry will then use a new photo & create the art live, explaining the different options she usually explores, such as adding textures, using actions and Topaz filters.”

“This session covers the techniques involved in capturing ultra macro images (up to 5x magnification) and processing them. We look at gear, subjects, lighting, mounting and positioning, settings, focusing, and focus stacking. Tony will share his best ultra macro images of a variety of subjects, including insects and flower stigmas and stamens.”
