Come willing to explore the menu and the camera features.
We suggest that you have your go to camera body (with a small camera lens attached) mounted on a tripod or on a side table near you so you can access the camera easily menu without having to hold it the entire time. Having your camera hands free and comfortable will be useful.
Make sure that you have a fully charged battery and a memory card in the camera.
